Flitwick Dolphins Swimming Club is based in the Flitwick Leisure Centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick, Bedfordshire, MK45 1TH England.
Flitwick Dolphins train at Flitwick Leisure Centre (01525 717744) and additionally at Bedford High School (01234 334226).
Flitwick Dolphins is affiliated to the ASA East Region.
Flitwick Dolphins aims to train swimmers to a high level. We encourage swimmers to swim as much as possible with the club to maximize their progress and help them to achieve their highest potential.

Squads at Flitwick Dolphins form a pyramid structure, with progression measured against specific entry criteria and training performance. Flitwick Dolphins is a competitive club and entry criteria for the top squads can be demanding. Click here to download the full squad structure.
All squad moves are at the coaches' discretion, even if entry criteria have been achieved, and may be up, down or sideways.
Bronze (Starter) Squad
This is the entry-level squad for young swimmers starting out in competitive swimming. New trialists from swim school will undertake a trial period in the squad before being invited to join the club. The Bronze squad will undertake training aimed at providing them with the skill and stroke techniques required to progress in competitive swimming.
Cost: £32 per month
Silver (Development) Squad
This is a progressive squad for those swimmers ready to move on from the entry level. Swimmers will train to maintain and improve skills and stroke techniques.
Cost: £42 per month
Gold (Junior) Squad
This is a highly competitive squad of Junior swimmers who are committed to training and competing in order to improve their performance in the sport of swimming.
Cost: £54 per month
Diamond (Dolphin Club) Squad
This squad is made up of swimmers wishing to participate and compete in the sport of swimming but with a lower level of commitment in terms of the total number of hours / sessions training per week. However, the Diamond squad is a highly disciplined and competitive squad that requires complete focus towards improved performance in all aspects of swimming during training.
Cost: £18 per month
Platinum (Top) Squad
This is the top level competitive swimming squad made up of highly motivated individuals who are totally focussed and committed towards achieving district & national swimming performance times. Swimming ability, commitment to training along with mental focus will be key requirements for swimmers joining this squad.
Cost: £60 per month
Platinum Sprint Squad
This squad is made up of swimmers wishing to participate and compete at a high level in the sport of swimming, but with a lower level of commitment in terms of total number of hours / sessions training per week.
Cost: £47 per month
University Squad
Swimmers attending University and wishing to train whilst at home during the half-term and holidays may do so with the permission of the Head Coach.
Cost: £50 per annum (option to pay £20 per University term)

Annual Club Membership Fees (2010)
Senior Swimming Member: £40.00
Junior Swimming Member (under 17 on 31/12/2010): £36.00
Senior Non-Competitive Member: £13.00
Junior Non-Competitive Member (under 10 on 30/10/2010): £13.00
ASA registration fees (national, regional and County) are included in Club membership fees, which are payable in addition to squad training fees. Competitive swimmers who are first claim to another club must pay ASA fees to that club and enjoy reduced FDSC membership fees.
