Flitwick Market
Description
Flitwick Market takes place in the Village Hall car park on Friday mornings.
There is a wide range of produce available at the market usually including meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, bakery goods, plants and flowers, cheese, clothes, bicycles and haberdashery goods.
Flitwick Market is a small, friendly market situated behind Flitwick Village Hall. It was originally formed on 2nd September 1977 by the Village Hall Committee for the benefit of the local community. The aim of the market was, and still is, to provide funds to pay for the upkeep and repairs incurred by the Village Hall. Since its birth, the market has thrived and is popular with traders and public alike.
It provides various product lines with a friendly personal touch not seen in the larger stores. There is even a large free parking area for the public behind the market. Due to the low overheads the market still remains one of the cheapest places to trade. The trader is expected to erect their own stalls and have the benefit of keeping their vans close by behind them. If you are a trader and would like to trade on this friendly market, please phone 01525 753974 and see if there is room for your product line.
